The people who live on the land make good livings following the giant graze animals and collecting their dung to take back into town for processing. They turn the dung into a fuel meeting the energy needs of many kingdoms and used to power a thriving industry in the valley.
A small city has risen in the valley, the city of Leptoburg. Pieces of mirror attached to rooftops reflect sunlight up at the grazerbeasts. The grazerbeasts will never step near the mirrors so Leptoburg buildings are never trodden on.
Leptoburg people compete buy seeing who can build the tallest house. First they pile dirt in their yards making tall hills.
Roads and rail from Leptoburg, crossing the valley usually do not last long before a grazerbeast steps on one. Large factories process most of the dung before leaving the valley. Goods are shipped by plane and rugged terrain trucks.
Leptoburg was first made by the people who still live there. It’s seven generations old.
